Preparation
- With a corkscrew, pierce two of the three eyes positioned in one end of the coconut.
- Turn the coconut over and let out all the liquid (called "coconut water").

The liquid extracted from coconut can turn into an excellent refreshing drink. First, however, it is necessary to filter the liquid to remove all impurities: for this reason, it is advisable to filter the liquid through a narrow-mesh strainer, in turn protected by a gauze or a sheet of resistant absorbent paper.- Then proceed with the breaking of the coconut: with the hammer, exert some taps turning the coconut. The strokes must be quite firm: the coconut will break easily.
