ATTENTION! The term "Worcester ", although widely diffused, it represents a banal distortion of the noun Worcestershire; not surprisingly, the correct name is mentioned only on the original product label, while "Worcester" mostly refers to imitation foods.

Worcester is a British sauce marketed in small transparent bottles, appropriately labeled. Its composition is mixed, i.e. it contains plant and animal ingredients. The color of the Worcester is deep brown and its consistency is completely liquid.

It has a sweet, sour, pinchy and strongly spicy taste; Worcester sauce is used when it is necessary to give a pungent, strong and quite penetrating touch to cooking recipes and some cocktails. The nutritional intake is not the most interesting.
