Sodium fumarate is the sodium salt of fumaric acid, a natural acid; it is used by the food industry as an acidity regulator. In particular, sodium fumarate can be present in sweets, bakery products, baking powder, etc.
At the moment there are no known negative side effects, as it is easily metabolized by our body.
ADI DOSE: 6 mg per kg of body weight.
E366 POTASSIUM SMOKED, E367 CALCIUM SMOKED in all likelihood are similar in effect to E365, being salts derived from the same acid.
