- 90 KCal Calories per serving
-
Ingrediants
- 600 g of chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon of mustard seeds + 30 g of mustard paste
- 150 ml of milk
- 5 g of cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon of pickled green pepper
Materials Needed
- Small bowl
- Whip
- Pan with lid
- Scoop
Preparation
- Cut the chicken breast into fairly regular slices.
- Prepare the mustard cream. In a bowl, mix the mustard paste with the milk and the corn starch with a whisk: you will have to obtain a rather liquid mixture. Add mustard seeds to taste.
And the salt?
In this recipe, we suggest not to use salt: the mustard, very tasty, will give the right flavor to the steaks.- Heat a pan until it becomes red-hot - no need to add oil or butter. Cook the steaks for a couple of minutes on each side, until they take on a golden breakfast. When the meat is almost ready, lower the heat and pour in the mustard cream. Cover with the lid and cook for another minute. Turn the steaks in the mustard cream and finish with pickled green pepper.
- Serve immediately with a fresh salad or with a side of potato salad.
Did you know that
As an alternative to steaks, you can cut the meat into cubes or fillets.
Again, instead of using chicken, you can follow the same recipe with turkey meat.Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
To make the chicken with mustard even tastier, I can recommend serving it with capers or chopped green olives: the contrast with mustard will win you over!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
