Today I have an American Style recipe in store for you: brownies! These are sweet squares based on dark chocolate and hazelnuts, ideal for breakfast! I wanted to make some changes to the original recipe, to make them a little less caloric , while maintaining the flavor and gluttony. So I propose my recipe for the lightest brownies.

Did you know that
Not all recipes for preparing brownies include the use of hazelnuts: those who do not like the taste of hazelnuts can also omit them from the dough.
As an alternative, almonds can be used.
In general, brownies are prepared with higher amounts of sugar and butter: here we have instead proposed the slightly less caloric version.- Mix the sugar with the melted chocolate, then add the sifted flour, baking powder, a pinch of salt and the eggs. Mix everything until you get a smooth and velvety cream.
- Line a 22 cm side square pan with parchment paper.
- Distribute the dough in the pan and level with a spatula.
- Place the pan in the oven at 180 ° C and bake for 25-30 minutes.
Did you know that
To obtain soft-hearted sweets, we recommend cooking for 20 minutes. For those who love drier cakes, we recommend cooking for 30 minutes.- Remove the pan from the oven and allow to cool. Then cut the irregular edges and obtain 12 squares.
- Serve the brownies with a sprinkling of powdered sugar or with a scoop of ice cream.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
Certainly it will not be possible to properly define them as "light", but compared to the classic brownies, here we certainly find some less fat and sugar. If they are good you ask me? Try them: they will leave you speechless!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
Brownies are very caloric foods, with an energetic prevalence of lipids, followed by carbohydrates and finally by proteins. Among the fatty acids, many of them are saturated and the amount of cholesterol is also considerable. There is no shortage of fibers.
Although this recipe is much less caloric than the original, it does not lend itself to the diet of the overweight subject and the one suffering from metabolic diseases.
The average portion of Brownies corresponds to about 30g (130kcal).
