The Pullover Machine exercise is also known as the Pull over machine
Type of Exercise
Pullovers at the machine is a monoarticular / accessory exercise
Pullover to the machine: Execution
The starting position sees the athlete sitting on the machine with the shoulders fully flexed and positioned at the same height as the articulation of the machine. The pads rest on the back of the arm immediately above the elbows. The execution consists in extending the shoulders by exerting pressure on the bearing of the machine. The range of motion is partial and defined by the machine itself. The pectoralis major contributes less to shoulder extension than the dumbbell, barbell and lat machine variants.
