Parallel Leg Raising: Execution
The starting position sees the athlete suspended at the parallels with the elbows and forearms resting on them while the hands grip them. The torso and neck are immobile, the back is in its position of strength, the hips extended, the knees extended and the ankles in plantar flexion. Execution consists of performing a complete flexion of the hips without changing the position of the back. Flexing the knees is considered cheating.
