Type of Exercise
Vertical Pulley Elbow Extensions is a Monoarticular / accessory exercise
Variants

Elbow extensions to vertical pulley: Execution
The starting position sees the athlete standing about 30 cm from the machine (variable distance according to the model and individual variables). The distance between the feet is equal to the distance between the shoulders, the knees are partially flexed, the hips are flexed so that the torso is parallel to the cable, the back is in its position of strength, the elbows are flexed a little more than 90 ° and attached to the hips or a little further forward, while the grip can be prone / neutral (with curved bar in an inverted "v" shape), neutral (with rope), or supine (with straight bar). The execution consists in fully extending the elbows, taking care not to change the position of the body. The long head of the brachial triceps is clearly lower than the French press. The variation of the grip does not significantly affect the activity of the brachial triceps, but does affect the other elbow extensors and the involvement of the pronator / supinator muscles.
