In the first case there may be an excessive loss of blood even for small wounds, in the second case, however, one can witness the formation of clots even when not necessary and in areas where the intervention of the coagulation process would not be necessary (formation of thrombus), resulting in obstruction of the vessel and danger of clot detachment (thrombosis).
