What is Boric Water

Boric water is a very dilute solution of boric acid, otherwise known as orthoboric acid. The latter is a weak inorganic acid, whose basic formula is H3BO3.

Boric water is used in the pharmaceutical - and even veterinary - field by virtue of its antibacterial and antifungal properties. In detail, for this type of use, boric water is available in concentrations of 3%.
