These food additives are used in various foods, above all for their emulsifying, stabilizing, antioxidant and supporting functions for synthetic dyes.
Polyglycerol esters of fatty acids can be contained in various foods, such as bakery products, baked goods, cake mixes, puddings, etc.
At the moment there are no known negative side effects for human health as the body metabolizes all components just like natural food-borne fats.
ADI dose: 25 mg per kg of body weight.
