Hello everyone!
I am Tiziana, founder of @ joyness.it, the online school of yoga and meditation, and today I will guide you in a mini Yoga practice to sleep.
We will see together some yoga positions to do directly in bed, very useful for relaxing body and mind and therefore, getting ready for the night.
But before we start ", I want to give you some little tips.
- First, always check the temperature of the room in which you sleep, to rest well during the night it should not exceed 20 degrees.
- Turn off all electronic equipment and if possible, leave your cell phone in airplane mode or in another room.
- Create a mini-ritual, so that action after action, your mind begins to mentalize that it is preparing for the night. Example, start by dimming the lights in the room, turning on only those of the bedside table, put on your pajamas, prepare a chamomile tea and do these short positions directly in bed, just before going to bed.
- Aromatherapy can be great for making your bedroom an ideal place to relax and thus help you sleep. Try lavender, chamomile, or lemon balm for example.
- Do not look at anything that can somehow shake you or "wake you up", so try to avoid TV, cell phones, iPads, etc. at least one "hour before going to sleep. Better read a few pages of a good book.
Now I'd say we're ready for bed! Let yourself be guided by my voice and try to relax as much as you can.
