I love the shrimp cocktail: I find it a delicate and delicious appetizer! So I decided to prepare it entirely with my hands, including the sauce! The cocktail sauce (or pink sauce if you prefer) is a perfect condiment for fish and shrimp, and is prepared by mixing mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard and other secondary ingredients.

Ingrediants
- 150 g of light or yogurt mayonnaise
- 50 g of ketchup
- 1 tablespoon of mustard
- 50 g of fresh whipped cream or Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon of Worcester sauce
- half a glass of cognac

Preparation
To prepare this recipe we used homemade mayonnaise and ketchup. To speed up the time, you can buy ready-made sauces.
- In a bowl, combine all the main sauces, namely mayonnaise, ketchup and mustard.
- Also add the Greek yogurt, taking care to remove any liquids.

To make the pink sauce, you can replace the Greek yogurt with lightly whipped fresh cream. Alternatively, you can use natural yogurt: in the latter case, it is advisable to drain the yogurt through a clean cloth before adding it to the other ingredients to avoid making the sauce too liquid.- At this point, add the Worcester sauce and cognac (or brandy). Mix well until all the ingredients are combined.
- Cover the bowl with a sheet of cling film and leave to set in the fridge for at least an hour.
- The pink sauce is ready to be served.
