If necessary, add a little soy milk.
- Take a spoonful of dough and make small balls just over a walnut.
- Roll the meatballs on the breadcrumbs.
- Once the meatballs are obtained, brown them in a drizzle of oil, maintaining a sustained flame.
- When they are browned, transfer them to the pan with the peppers and cook for 10 minutes, over low heat, to flavor them.
- Serve the tofu balls hot with a few basil leaves, pairing with croutons.

Did the taste of tofu balls win you over? They are special as a single summer dish: if you don't like peppers you can avoid them and use a simple tomato sauce flavored with basil.
