Well, I knew: Mom started making liters and liters of broth because she can't resist soup. And now a mountain of meat is left over! Sure very good, but always eating boiled meat is not the best. So I thought about preparing an accompanying sauce to make the meat more appetizing. I'm talking about the tuna sauce which, as we know, is prepared with tuna, capers, anchovies and mayonnaise (or oil and hard-boiled eggs). Here, today I would like to offer it in the lighter version: the tuna sauce with yogurt. Let's find out together what we need.

- 30 g of capers
- 2 anchovy fillets

Preparation
Preparing this sauce is very simple and very, very fast. The version proposed here involves the use of Greek yogurt, while the original recipe suggests mixing the tuna with eggs and oil or simply with mayonnaise.
- Drain the tuna well in oil and pour it into a mixer. Add the capers and anchovies.
- Mix everything for a couple of minutes, until the tuna is creamy. To facilitate the operation, pour a few teaspoons of Greek yogurt into the mixer.
- Mix the cream obtained with the remaining Greek yogurt (0% fat). If necessary, season with salt.
- The sauce is ready to accompany meat and fish or simply to prepare irresistible canapes.

Here is a delicious sauce to accompany with boiled meat (in my case) or to fill vol-ou-vent or even to spread on white bread to prepare delicious canapes.

The egg-free light tuna sauce is an alternative preparation to the traditional recipe and is almost totally cholesterol-free. It lends itself to the diet in case of hypercholesterolemia and, despite being produced with tuna in oil, the intake of fats is not the highest, like the total calories, which are also contained; proteins are abundant and of high biological value. The average portion of light tuna sauce corresponds to about 30g (40kcal).
