Ingrediants
- Ready food, boiled: 75 g of cannellini beans or white beans
- 15 g of bitter cocoa
- 25 g of hazelnuts
- 50 g of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 75 ml of soy milk
- 20 g of dark chocolate
Materials Needed
- Powerful blender
- Casserole
- Scale weighs food
- Jars with respective screw caps
- Cooking pan
Preparation
- Heat a pan and, without adding oil, toast the hazelnuts for 2-3 minutes to release their aroma.
- In the meantime, whisk the cannellini beans to a cream, previously soaked in water overnight and boiled in unsalted water for an hour. To facilitate blending, it is advisable to combine brown sugar and coconut oil.
As an alternative to coconut oil
You can use cocoa butter, tahini sauce (sesame butter) or plain corn oil.- Combine the hazelnuts in a blender and add the unsweetened cocoa powder and dark chocolate. Blend for a long time until you get a cream.
- Mix the hazelnut cream with the cannellini bean cream, then combine the mixture in a saucepan. Add the soy milk and, maintaining a very sweet flame, stir until it just comes to a boil.
- The bean and cocoa cream is ready: it can be eaten immediately or stored in the fridge (in a closed container) for a week. To extend storage times, it is recommended to sterilize the cream following the preservation method for jams. In this way, the cream will remain unchanged for 5-6 months.
