Cystocele

Generality

The cystocele is the sliding of the bladder from its seat towards the vagina. This descent occurs as a result of repeated trauma, which weakens the pelvic floor. Symptoms are numerous: from pelvic pain to failure to empty the bladder during urination. For the correct diagnosis, a gynecological examination is recommended.

There are several therapeutic treatments, the application of which depends on the severity of the cystocele. If the less severe cases are resolved with simple muscle strengthening exercises, the more serious cases may also require a "surgical operation.
Prevention, as always, is essential.
