E356 SODIUM ADIPATE
Sodium adipate is the sodium salt of adipic acid (E355); it is used by the food industry as a synthetic acidifier and acidity regulator. It can be contained in flavored salts. Being metabolized by our body and excreted in the urine, sodium adipate is not very risky for health; consequently no significant side effects are reported in the literature.
ADI DOSE: 5 mg per kg of body weight.
