Did you know that
For homogeneous cooking, it is recommended to choose potatoes of similar size.
To understand when the potatoes are cooked, you can stick a wooden stick in the center of the potato: if the heart is soft, the potatoes are cooked.- Meanwhile, prepare the accompanying sauce. In a bowl, mix the natural low-fat yogurt with the mustard. Flavor with chopped chives, parsley and basil. Adjust the salt and pepper sauce, then emulsify everything with a tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
Bavarian baked potatoes
The original recipe (Bavarian baked potatoes) involves stuffing the potatoes with a sauce prepared with sour cream. As an alternative to cream, we have proposed the yogurt sauce here, but they are also delicious filled with spreadable cheese with herbs.- Remove the potatoes from the oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Unwrap the potatoes and cut them lengthwise. Season the potatoes with salt and pepper, then serve immediately with the prepared yogurt sauce.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
How good are the potatoes in foil: serve them hot, but watch out for the tongue (it could stay stuck!). The "Bavarian" version of this recipe involves flavoring the potatoes with sour cream, but I have proposed my version, much lighter but equally tasty!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
