Who among us hasn't enjoyed watching corn kernels crackle in the pot as a child to turn into popcorn? I remember that I was fascinated by that crackling, to the point of not resisting opening the lid on the most beautiful! I leave it to you to imagine popcorn scattered throughout the kitchen! So today I would like to relive that moment, but preparing the sweet and colorful version of the classic popcorn!

Ingrediants
- 150 g of corn kernels
- 50 g of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- A few drops of blue dye
- A few drops of red dye
- 1 pinch of salt
Materials Needed
- High casserole with lid
- Bowl
- Wooden spoon
Preparation
- Pour a tablespoon of oil into a saucepan (preferably non-stick or stone). Once hot, add a part of corn kernels and a few drops of food coloring.

For a better distribution of the product, it is recommended to use a liquid dye, in drops. Gel or powder dyes can also be used: in these cases, it is advisable to dissolve the dye in a tablespoon of water before adding it to the corn.- Close the pot with the lid and maintain a high flame for 2-3 minutes, moving the saucepan often. In no time the corn kernels will start to burst: do not open the lid!
- Transfer the popcorn to a bowl, adding sugar and salt to taste.
- Repeat the same operation with the remaining corn kernels, using different dyes.
- Combine the popcorn in a bowl and serve.
