Leg raises on bench: Execution
The starting position sees the athlete lying on his back on a flat or inclined bench with his hands grasping fixed points usually located behind the head. The back is in its position of strength and must remain there for the duration of the exercise. The hips are extended as are the knees, while the ankles are in plantar flexion. The execution consists of fully flexing the hips avoiding flexing the knees and spine.
