Gymnastics and nutrition are not the only means that can give us a beautiful and harmonious body. Relaxation is also of considerable importance as it helps us to restore mind and spirit.
It is not easy to relax in the midst of the many tensions that life offers us. Often you can't find the right time or environment to do it, while other times you don't know the right relaxation techniques.
The ideal time to relax is in the evening, just before bedtime. However, after learning to listen to your body, letting go becomes easier and can be done at any time, to regain energy at work or to calm down after a long fight.
Dim the lights, turn off the television, search for conditions of maximum tranquility.
Lie on the ground on your back, with your hands at your sides, your eyes closed. Abandon yourself by letting the body spontaneously find the position of least tension. Don't contract your muscles, let gravity guide your movements. The joints will have to melt and move smoothly as if guided by the wind.
Relax ...
Now concentrate on your face, keep your eyes closed without squeezing them, let the eyelids gently lower. In a few moments, retrace the whole day in your mind.
Gather your energies and send them to the forehead. Imagine someone gently pulling your hair down. The forehead follows the movement of the scalp, the skin of the face becomes supple, the lips part, the jaw opens gently.
The more time passes and the more the tensions disappear, your muscles become like butter, your skin an ice cream that melts in the sun, the hair and hair seem to detach from the body.
Abandon yourself ..
The relaxation is now total, the mind is in a quiet phase, the half-closed eyes are lost in the void. Peace and tranquility reign in the room, your relaxation is such that you do not see and hear anything.
Remain in this state for a few minutes, if you feel the need, fall asleep.
When you decide to return to reality, slowly try to regain control of the muscles. Try to recompose your body slowly, lifting skin and muscles from the ground. The inhalations become deeper the shorter exhalations. Gradually regain control of your muscles, small shivers run down your spine as a testimony of the energy that starts to flow again.
Get up slowly, opening your eyes at the last moment. You feel satisfied, relaxed, a sense of tranquility envelops you, the tensions have disappeared and above all you are aware that you have restored the right serenity to your spirit.
Total relaxation
