Generality
Gonalgia is the medical term used to indicate a generic pain in the knee, a rather common symptom that can affect people of all ages.
In addition to supporting the weight of the body, the knee must make a series of movements that test the structures that make up the joint. Furthermore, this area is particularly exposed to sports and non-sports traumatic injuries, such as sprains and fractures.
Based on the triggering cause, the treatment of gonalgia can include anti-inflammatory drugs, corticosteroids (even with local infiltrations) and physiotherapy support.
