The industry has also prepared milks suitably formulated for the following period, always in place of cow's milk, which are called milks below you hate continuation. These milks offer the opportunity to provide, after 4-6 months of life, in succession to adapted milk or in place of breast milk, a formulated milk that is more responsive than cow's milk to the nutritional needs of the infant. They are generally indicated with the number 2 or the word "plus" next to the trade name (which is the same as for infant milks). The following milks differ from the cow milk for a higher content of linoleic acid and iron, reduction of sodium, proteins (which are however higher than in adapted milk) and vitamin supplementation.
