In fact, we must not make the mistake of thinking of the presence of vibrations as a "macroscopic" condition (the classic pneumatic hammer on the floor); sometimes these can be imperceptible but, not for this reason, devoid of effects on the organism. Suffice it to say that the noise itself is represented by our brain's interpretation of the vibrations present in the surrounding environment.
Measured in hertz - frequency of periodic oscillations in a single second (Hz) - these could be defined as "mechanical oscillations around an equilibrium point". The elements that characterize them are: frequency, wavelength, amplitude, speed, acceleration and input axis. Not surprisingly, the consequences of vibrations on the human body potentially change according to the type of stimulus.
Speaking of "health", vibrations can have positive or negative effects, or have no consequences.This obviously depends not only on the Hz but also on the exposure time, the point and the contact surface, etc.
Among the vibrations with negative effects we can mention those present in certain work environments, such as on construction sites. For this there are protocols of prevention and isolation of the same to protect the workers. Among those with positive effects we could include the vibrations released by the vibrating platforms; and it is precisely these tools that we will discuss in the next paragraph.
