What are?
THE sprouted seeds they are foods that derive from the germination of the propagation organs of plants called spermatophytes; the sprouted seeds are then produced by transforming a fertilized egg.
The most common sprouted seeds in the food sector are those of: alfalfa or alfalfa, radish, clover And green soy (in addition to all cereals and legumes in general);
sprouted seeds have always been used in oriental cuisine but, only currently (20-30 years), have they also been widespread in western food (starting from the USA).How to make them at home
Sprouted seeds are easily obtainable even in the home. It is sufficient to put about 25-30g of germination seeds in a container with 400-500ml of water (possibly without chlorine and sterilized); after about 3 hours the seeds will have absorbed enough water to start the germination process, therefore they will be drained to be incubated at about 25 ° C in the dark. In the following days, the seeds will be rinsed daily until harvest (about 3-7 days).
