E461 METHYL CELLULOSE
Methylcellulose is obtained from cellulose, a constituent polysaccharide of wood and all plant structures, chemically methylated.
It is mainly used as an emulsifier, anti-aggregating agent, thickener and stabilizer.
It can be contained in several products.
High concentrations of methylcellulose can cause intestinal problems, such as bloating, constipation and diarrhea, due to the insolubility of this product.
