E129 - RED ALLURA AC (C.I. 45430)

Allura red AC is a synthetic red dye. It is typically contained in soda bitters and wine bitters. Side effects are not yet safe but are thought to have negative repercussions on human metabolism. It may cause skin allergies and is thought to have carcinogenic effects. It has been banned in several states.

ADI DOSE: 7mg per kg of body weight.
