Oh, oh Gee, you really caught me red-handed !! I'm late, I was speeding up in preparing the potato gnocchi !! In fact, today is Friday in Lent, therefore, in full respect of religion, we eat "lean": a ban on the consumption of meat. Well, while we're at it, would you like to join me and prepare this dish with me? It's one of my favorites: the potato gnocchi topped with sugar, cinnamon and cheese. What is that face? Do not be skeptical: it is a delight! Now I will immediately suggest doses and ingredients.

Preparation

- Melt the butter in a saucepan over a very low heat and, when ready, add the raisins soaked and well squeezed by the soaking water.
- At this point, dip the gnocchi in plenty of boiling salted water and, when they emerge, remove them with a slotted spoon.
- Pour the gnocchi into a bowl, gradually adding the mixture of parmesan cheese, sugar and cinnamon. Finish with the melted butter and raisins.
The advice OK
To avoid leaving the gnocchi on the floured surface (thus avoiding that the gnocchi absorb too much flour), this dish can be prepared in time: as soon as they are prepared, the gnocchi can be boiled and, immediately after, plunged into cold water (as we have seen for the preparation of the spatzle). In this way, it will be sufficient to heat them in water and flavor them even by preparing them well in advance (a couple of hours).- Serve immediately.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
I assure you that these gnocchi are exceptional: it is a traditional Venetian recipe, which I love! There are those who even add a little tomato puree to sugar and cinnamon, but I prefer them that way! Seeing is believing!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
Sweet potato gnocchi are an alternative first course with a delicate taste and a spicy scent. The energy intake is almost 50% higher than that of the simple dough, due to the presence of raisins, sugar, cheese and butter but, by carefully observing the translated values, it is possible to note only a relative increase in saturated lipids and total carbohydrates (partly even simple). The average portion, including the dressing, remains 160-180g, for a total of 260-290kcal
