Preparation
- First, devote yourself to cleaning the pumpkin. Wash the pumpkin, cut it in half, remove the internal filaments and seeds, then remove the hard and woody peel. Cut the pumpkin into pieces.
- Steam the pumpkin for 15-20 minutes, or until very soft.
- Transfer the hot pumpkin to a bowl and mash it with a fork to make a puree. Alternatively, blend the pumpkin to obtain a soft mixture.
