Did you know that
To make the filling even more delicious, it is advisable to sauté the diced pear in a pan with a spoonful of sugar and a knob of butter.
Alternatively, you can spread the base of the pastry with a couple of tablespoons of quince jam or quince pear.- With the other pastry disc, obtain a gray one using the special mold for decorations (we recommend that you refer to the video). Place the grid thus obtained on top of the filling, then sealing the edges with the tines of a fork. Those who do not have it can cut the pastry into 2 cm strips and decorate the filling by forming a grid.
- Bake the cake at 200 ° C and bake for about 25-30 minutes. If the surface tends to brown excessively, lower the oven strength.
- Remove the cake from the oven and wait at least half an hour before cutting it.
