In more and more sports, this professional figure begins to become of extreme importance for the improvement of physical performance.
The strength coach collaborates closely with the athletic trainer, but specializes in advanced training in order to increase strength, the basic muscle quality for any sporting gesture.
Generally, the increase in strength is sought through the use of training with overloads, which the athletic trainer will be able to transform into the best performance of the player.
It is not uncommon to see athletes with their personal Stregth Coach, they train personally with him in order to recover injuries, improve their weaknesses or simply to want to improve their muscle performance.
All extra work that will reward the athletes who have been able to focus on this professional figure.
In Italy, despite the first steps being taken, this figure is still little in use if not even non-existent in many sports realities, which is different around the world, where the figure of the Strength Coach is present in all sports clubs. How many athletes have their own Strength Coach or Personal Trainer? How many athletes around the world do everything to improve their physical performance, even with extra training or with the help of professionals outside the team? How many wanting more from their body or to make the leap in quality rely on specialists of force?
Well, many do this, especially the winning athletes who leave nothing to chance and do everything to optimize their physical preparation ...
In football, especially in modern football, muscular strength is a muscular quality of primary importance that must be trained in one's own way and with the appropriate training means. Precisely for this reason times run out and who will be able to be the first to dare to taking a step forward, also overturning traditional ways of working, will benefit from the advantages that such training can bring to players and athletes in general.
Unique benefits, players will be able to improve their sprinting speed and quickness, the ability to jump high, improve the speed of direction changes, improve shooting strength and improve stamina. Without forgetting that an accurate Strength training can prevent injuries and various inflammations.
There is little time, there is too much risk, they are not used to it, these are the excuses to divert the argument when you want to propose something different from the usual running around the field .. The real excuse in Italy is that there are few people who dare to change schemes, thus neglecting the possibility of making the real leap in quality.
It is true that there are already very good athletic trainers who try to improve the performance of the players, but if you want to make the leap in quality you need a professional, specialized in training with overloads, who knows how to teach the exercises and methodology in an optimal way. athletes, in order to increase their strength and avoid unpleasant injuries. This figure must always be with the athletes during the exercises and guarantee their physical integrity. Only a specialist in the subject will be able to do this and study the ideal advanced methodologies and programming for each individual athlete according to the needs given by the different roles and competitive commitments.
Well let's see how "it is possible to increase the Strength through" the use of simple exercises; these should be periodized with special training methods and combined with the various phases of a competitive season and with the roles of individual athletes.
My intent is to show new ways to work and bring attention to strength training in order to raise the strength levels of any athlete.
The exercises that will follow are just some of the exercises that should be part of the athletic baggage of any self-respecting athlete-footballer.
