The procedure requires specific preparation, takes place under local anesthesia and can take place in two ways: open, that is, by incising the skin for several centimeters, or closed, that is, in arthroscopy.
Recovery times vary based on several factors, such as the type of procedure adopted, physiotherapy and the work done daily by the patient.
The results are satisfactory, although complications can sometimes arise.
