The growing interest in mindfulness has given rise to numerous studies to investigate its real potential, in particular, in the medical-therapeutic field. The results obtained so far - which will need to be further explored - are encouraging and outline mindfulness as an extremely useful tool for alleviating the emotional suffering of patients suffering from different types of pathologies.
