Macrogol is part of the composition of numerous medicines, within which it can be found in different concentrations, both alone and in combination with other active ingredients. Some of these medicines appear as medical devices, others as SOP drugs (without obligation to prescription) and still others such as class C drugs (non-refundable and fully paid by the citizen) that require presentation of a repeatable medical prescription (RR) in order to be sold.
