Generality
Pyogenic granuloma is a benign vascular tumor, which arises from the rapid and uncontrolled proliferation of an epithelial cell of a blood vessel with skin or mucosa.
The typical pyogenic granuloma has the appearance of a red nodule or papule, no more than a couple of centimeters large, which, if subjected to shocks, is the protagonist of bleeding.
The therapy of pyogenic granuloma varies in relation to three factors, which are: the size of the tumor, the location of the tumor and the probable factors favoring its formation.
