Did you know that apples are also a magical symbol of Halloween? The apple is a sacred fruit for witches, capable of embodying symbols such as knowledge, love and death. Think that the wood of the apple tree was formerly used by the Druids to begin sacred ceremonies.
According to another legend, on Halloween night it was traditional to drink apple cider flavored with spices such as cinnamon and cloves.

Did you know that
Those who wish can also avoid adding the red dye to obtain a blond and golden caramel.- At this point, dip each apple in the boiling caramel and roll it in the almonds or chopped hazelnuts. To facilitate the hardening of the caramel and the adhesion to the decorations, immerse the apples in water and ice for 5 seconds, immediately after having caramelized them, then decorate them as desired.
- To embellish the apples, dip a fork in the remaining caramel and create threads by quickly twirling the fork on the plate. Then serve the apples with the caramel decorations.
