Alternatives
Those who wish can replace the raisins with lemon verbena, pieces of dried apricots, dried figs, chopped apples or prunes!- Heat the peanut oil until it reaches 180 ° C: it is recommended to monitor the temperature with a specific food thermometer in order to avoid the formation of toxic compounds that are potentially harmful to health.
- With the help of a couple of steel spoons or an ice cream portioner, collect a part of the batter and fry in oil at 180 ° C.
The advice OK
It is advisable to prefer a pan with high sides to make sure that the pancakes have enough space to toss and turn in the oil.
For optimal cooking, it is also recommended to cook a few pancakes at a time: in this way, it will be easier to keep the temperature constant.- The pancakes will be ready when the surface appears golden (2-3 minutes).
- Remove the pancakes from the cooking oil with the help of a slotted spoon. Place the pancakes on a tray or in a bowl with absorbent paper.
- Sprinkle with powdered sugar or granulated sugar to taste and serve.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
Pancakes for everyone! So, did you understand why I baptized them "drunk"? What do you say, do we do the balloon test for each pancake? Don't worry, once cooked, the flavor of the wine vanishes, leaving only an extraordinary lightness!Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
