I could continue with many other exercises, these are just examples of what you can do to train muscles in a different way from the usual driven machines so popular here in Italy! I would say that this is just the tip of the "Iceberg" of strength training for an athlete, but know, and I am not saying this because I have to convince you of this or I have to sell you something, that all athletes who will be able to improve their expressions of strength they will be physically more prepared athletes and this greater athletic prowess will turn into a champion's performance!
Obviously all these exercises and many others must be carefully selected, taught accurately and inserted in precise programs.
If you are a footballer and do this for your job or you are just a fan, don't neglect strength training. The advice I can give you is to look for a good Strength Coach in your area and have a Strength program set up to suit your needs, and you will see how your performance will improve! If you want to be faster, more explosive, with greater elevation and with joints and muscles protected from injury, you just have to start!
Good Force to all!
