What is the blue shark?
The blue shark, known in English as "blue shark", is a cartilaginous fish belonging to the family of Carcharhinidae and the Genre Prionace (species Prionace glauca).
The blue shark is an edible fish and belongs to the group of fish products, that is to say in fishery products; it cannot be bred and is taken "occasionally" by professionals.
From the cartilage skeleton of the blue shark, various food supplements are obtained for the joints and bones (see shark cartilage).
