Calcium polyphosphate is an additive used in general to increase the dietary mass of certain foods, such as meats and cured meats sold by weight or some cheeses. It has emulsifying and stabilizing functions.
The consumption of high doses of this additive may involve some risks for human health such as digestive disorders, allergic reactions, etc. (this additive is prohibited in Australia).
ADI DOSE: up to 70 mg / kg of body weight
