E104 - QUINOLINE YELLOW (C.I. 47005)
Quinoline Yellow is a synthetic dye; we find it in fizzy drinks, powdered puddings, smoked fish and colors for Easter eggs. Risks: hyperactivity, asthma, rhinitis, eczema, visual disturbances, insomnia, increased incidence of liver and kidney cancer (observed in high dose mice). Contraindicated for asthmatics and allergic people.
Quinoline Yellow, in combination with E951 (aspartame), can attack nerve cells with 7 times greater intensity than when used alone.
ADI DOSE: 10 mg per kg of body weight
