If you too, like me, are lovers of the well-known combination of "ham and melon", nothing better than the recipe I am about to present will please you. Yes, because we will prepare a sort of elaborate melon salad with slices of ham, rocket and - hear this - shelled prawns. Everything will be served on a bowl of melon. But that's not all. Since we like to complicate our life, we will present the melon in the form of balls and roll the prawn tails on some slices of raw ham. We will complete everything by preparing raw roses

Ingrediants
- half a glass of brandy
- 1 pinch of salt
- 50 g of rocket
- 100 g of raw ham
- 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
- Optional: 4-5 mint leaves
- 1 kg of melon
- half a cup of untreated lemon juice
- 200 g of shrimp
- 4-5 stems of chives
- q.s. of pepper

Preparation
- First prepare the melon: cut it in half, removing the seeds. From one half, obtain many balls with the help of the digger. With the other half, however, make classic "crescent" slices.
- Prepare the salad dressing. In a bowl, pour the lemon juice and oil. Season the rocket with this dressing, also adding salt and pepper.
- Put a pan on the heat: when it is very hot, brown the peeled prawns, blending to taste with a little brandy. The prawns require very few minutes of cooking.
Alternatives
Those who do not like to taste brandy prawns can choose a simpler and more natural cooking in steam or in boiling salted water: the prawns will be ready in a matter of minutes.- Cover a few melon balls with the raw ham, trying to create a bundle. Close the bundle with a chive stem.
- Also wrap the prawn tails with the raw ham, with the help of chives (whose purpose, in this case, is exclusively decorative).
- Fill the half shell of melon with the rocket, then arrange in an orderly way some bundles of raw ham, some melon balls and the covered shrimp tails.
- With the prawns left "natural", build a sort of crown along the entire edge of the melon shell.
- Also wrap the raw ham on some slices of "crescent" melon.
- Serve immediately, artistically arranging the slices of melon, the bundles, the shell stuffed with melon and the rocket on a plate, finishing with a few mint leaves.
