- q .. of salt
- q.s. of pepper
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- Untreated lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon of breadcrumbs

- Pyrex tray
- Plate
- Grater
Preparation
- Clean the asparagus. Wash the asparagus in running water, cut the last 2-3 cm from the bottom, then peel them.

For this recipe, you can use either white, green or both asparagus.- Pour some hot water into a microwave-safe pyrex tray. Dip the asparagus in the tray water and cook in the microwave for 5 minutes or until soft inside.
- Remove the asparagus from the water and place them on a plate. Season with salt and pepper. Sprinkle with grated bread, grated lemon zest and sprinkle with a couple of tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil.
- Cook in the microwave with the micro + grill function for 5 minutes, until golden brown.
- Remove the gratinated asparagus from the microwave, flavor with chopped parsley and serve.
