Ingrediants
For a mold with a diameter of 14 cm
- 120 g of white flour of type 00
- 6 g of baking powder
- 40 g of sugar
- 70 ml of untreated orange juice
- 60 g (1 medium) of eggs
- 30 g of butter
- 1 pinch of salt
- Untreated lemon zest
To decorate
- Q.b.of powdered sugar
Materials Needed
- Bowl
- Scale weighs food
- Sieve
- Glass or silicone mold with a diameter of 14 cm
- Lemon grater or row
Preparation
- In a bowl, sift the white flour and baking powder.
- Combine the granulated sugar, lemon zest and a pinch of salt.
- In the center, add the egg, orange juice and melted butter.
- Mix all the ingredients to get a lump-free cream.
- Pour the mixture into a silicone or glass mold with a diameter of 14 cm: the glass molds need to be previously greased, while this step is not necessary for the silicone ones.
- Place the mold in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at the power of 800W.
- Remove the cake from the microwave, then pierce it with a stick to check if it is cooked.
- Turn the mold upside down and gently remove the cake.
- Sprinkle with icing sugar and serve with jam, custard or other creams to taste. Microwave dessert is also excellent for stuffing or soaking.
Variations
As an alternative to orange juice, it is possible to use: citrus fruit juice, milk, other fruit juice as desired.
Instead of lemon peel, it is possible to flavor the cake with orange peel or with vanilla (powder or seeds).
To serve, you can sprinkle the cake with simple icing sugar or with sugar icing, preferably flavored with lemon or limoncello.Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
