The flavor of honey is very strong and is perceived intensely in the sweet. Those who do not like the taste of honey can replace it with 120 g of brown sugar.- Coarsely chop the walnuts with the knife.
- Mix the white flour with the chopped walnuts, add the salt, the baking powder, then slowly add the mixture to the egg cream and honey.
- Line a 20 cm diameter springform pan with baking paper.
- Pour the mixture into the pan, level with a spatula and bake in the oven at 160 ° C (mode: ventilated) for 40 minutes or until the inside is dry.

In this recipe we suggest using only 30 ml of oil because the cake is rich in nuts, which in turn is a source of good fats: it is not necessary to use butter, nor to overdo it with the oil.- Remove the cake from the mold, allow to cool and finish, as desired, with icing sugar.
