As a good Personal-Cooker, I always keep my promises!
If you remember, a few recipes ago, I told you about a particular granita: the coffee granita. Unlike the mint and lemon granita, the coffee one has a different preparation method (and even faster!). What changes is the way of freezing: the mixture, in fact, must be poured directly into the ice cream maker.
The continuous freezing - typical of the ice cream maker - will allow to obtain a granita (better known as malaxed) characterized by thousands and thousands of very small crystals.
Let's run to prepare it!

Who does not own the ice cream maker
Instead of pouring the mixture into the ice cream maker, it is possible to distribute everything in a large tray with low edges, then place it in the freezer. The mixture should be stirred every 20 minutes, first with a whisk, then with a wooden spoon, until the typical consistency of a granita or sorbet is obtained.- To obtain a granita to eat by the spoon, it is advisable to pour the mixture into a tray and let it rest in the freezer for about an hour (after letting everything mix in the ice cream maker).
- Serve the granita (precisely called "gramolata") with a dollop of whipped cream, preferably vegetable.
Alice's comment - PersonalCooker
This coffee granita is exceptional! I would call it a cross between a sorbet and an iced drink. And then, the granita, with a few tufts of cream, is really chic! (Every now and then we can afford a little gluttony come on).Nutritional values and Health Comment on the recipe
ATTENTION! The translation on the side does NOT take into account the addition of whipped cream, as this is an absolutely NOT essential additional ingredient.
