Preparation
- In a glass bowl with a diameter of 12 cm, pour a tablespoon of water and one of sugar. Place the bowl in the microwave and cook for 2 minutes at maximum power, making sure to stop cooking every 30 seconds to mix the caramel and to avoid burning the sugar.
- In another bowl, pour an egg, the condensed milk and the vanilla flavor: mix the mixture with a whisk. Mix the mixture with the partially skimmed milk.
Some alternatives
As an alternative to condensed milk, 30 g of granulated sugar can be used: in this case, it is recommended to use 20 ml of milk more.
As an alternative to vanilla flavoring, lemon zest can be used.- Pour the mixture into the bowl with the caramel.
- Prepare bowls for cooking in a double boiler in the microwave. Pour boiling water into a large bowl, then insert the bowl with the mixture into the water: for cooking in a bain-marie, the water level must reach half the height of the bowl with the cream.
- Place the bowls in the microwave oven and cook for 4 minutes at maximum power.
