- 71 KCal Calories per serving
-
Ingrediants
- 125 ml of rice milk
- 125 ml of vegetable cream
- 250 g of strawberries
- 40 ml of agave syrup or maple syrup
- 5 g of agar agar
Materials Needed
- Immersion mixer
- Chopping board
- Knife
- Casserole
- Food thermometer
- Whip
- 2 silicone molds with a capacity of 250 ml
Preparation
- Wash the strawberries and dry them gently with absorbent paper.
- Cut the strawberries into pieces, removing the stalk.
- Pour the pieces of strawberries and the vegetable cream into the container of the mixer and blend until you get a sort of smoothie.
- Meanwhile, heat the rice milk until it reaches 80 ° C, sweetening to taste with the agave syrup. Pour in the agar agar powder and continue to mix vigorously with the whisk to avoid the formation of lumps. Cook for a couple of minutes.
Why should the milk be brought to a temperature of 80 ° C?
The agar agar dissolves much faster if it is poured into a liquid at a temperature of 80 ° C. To prevent the agar from forming lumps, it is recommended to mix vigorously with a whisk.- At this point, combine the sweet milk with the thickener in the strawberry smoothie. Mix again to mix everything together.
- Pour the smoothie into the silicone molds, preferably placed on a plate (to prevent the pudding, still liquid, from being overturned).
- Leave the strawberry pudding to harden in the refrigerator for a couple of hours.
- Turn the molds over onto a serving dish, decorate as desired and serve.
