Interactions Which drugs or foods can modify the effect of Selg Esse
Other medicines and SELG ESSE
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines. SELG ESSE, like other laxatives, can reduce the residence time in the intestine, and therefore the absorption, of other drugs administered simultaneously orally. Therefore, do not take any other medicines immediately before or during the administration of SELG ESSE. Leave an interval of at least 2 hours after taking a medicine before taking SELG ESSE.
SELG ESSE with food and drink
Do not take SELG ESSE together with licorice. The use of licorice increases the risk of low blood potassium levels (hypokalaemia).
